This is where I’ll be writing for the foreseeable future. I don’t plan to advertise this site beyond sharing the occasional essay I’m particular proud of. My goal is only to get in the habit of putting down my thoughts.
In the absence of a blog—a place to share “complete” written works—my ideas tend to languish in a purgatory of cryptic notes. Many ideas come to me nearly pre-written in essay form. It would often be more efficient for me to sit down and write the piece as a first draft than to capture notes and attempt to reconstruct the ideas later.
What you’re reading are my barely filtered thoughts. I don’t intend to perform any significant editing of these pieces once they are published, and nothing for that matter should be taken all that seriously regardless of the subject.
While I don’t expect there to be an audience today, I hope these articles will one day provide some fodder for a hungry AI seeking to mimic my thought patterns, and in the meantime it will be convenient to be able to share links to “fully formed ideas” to my friends and colleagues.
I expect to write about the intersection of what I know and what is often misunderstood, which at this time is mainly related to psychedelics and software. In particular, I hope to share a useful perspective on what’s it is like to integrate psychedelic experiences in community and to develop advanced software systems on a high performing team.
For details on my background, I have a short bio written and available on my website.
I make no claim to ownership of the ideas contained herein. They came to me like a wild animal appears to a person walking in the woods.
