I’ve been listening to the audiobook version of The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. The book’s ideas are primary conveyed in the form of a parable. This is particularly effective as some topics such as navigating social conflict are extremely difficult to learn in an abstract manner — they must be learned experientially. A parable essentially maps the key lessons into a format which we — especially when listening to the audiobook — are able to experience more directly than abstractly.
